When things are always around us
we rarely pause to notice.
Their presence feels ordinary
until their absence speaks.

The people we see every day
the moments we barely notice.
The time we think we have
the days we call ordinary.
The smiles we see so often
the voices that fill our days.

Only when they are missing,
we start to understand.
What felt ordinary yesterday
was quietly precious all along.

So take a moment today,
to notice what still remains.
Some things are meant to be valued
before the snow arrives.

Notice and appreciate what you have today.

Not everything we love stays forever.
